This is a natural polished stone from Alberta Canada with stunning colours .I bought this on my last trip to the mines there. It has been stabilized/polished [this prevents the stone from lifting off its natural backing.]and is now ready for setting. It is also usual practice to reinforce the back to give strength to the stone..The reflection you see on the stone is from the lights we use to take the photo.For rough ammolite visit our sister store Quality Rough under ammolite.
