A wonderful specimen consisting of well formed glassy transparent Fluorite crystals on a Hematite-limonite matrix. Nowadays it is extremely unusual to find specimens from Serifos island as there is a ban for collecting in effect. This specimen along with others I will be offering were collected prior to the ban decades ago. Specimens from this locality come from old miners and were found decades ago. The locality is hardly known to the mineral world and specimens from this locality are now found in private collections. Hardly any of this material from this locality is available on the market which makes it a rarer specimen (google search). Will be a great addition to any rock and mineral collection and would look delightful on display. Highest bidder will not be disappointed.
