Wonderful example of Andradite Garnet crystals on matrix from a find in September 2020. Garnet crystals have well-defined faces and edges along with a nice luster. Although crystals are obvious to the naked eye, specimen requires magnification in order to fully enjoy the crystal structures. The locality is hardly known to the mineral world and hardly any of this material is available on the market which makes it a rare specimen (google search). A wonderful example of Andradite from northern Greece. Will be a delightful addition to any rock and mineral collection.
