Like the three previous issues containing sapphires, opals or diamonds, the 2010 coins are
struck in proof quality from 1oz of 99.9% pure silver
• The ‘locket’ in the new silver proof coin contains three granules of gold weighing a
minimum of 0.50g.

Striking Reverse Design
The coin’s reverse design portrays an abstract interpretation of Australia’s stark and beautiful landscape.
