gr71 I33 this stone is one of the reasons i decided to learn to cut gem,stones. the gemstone cutter in the hopes of making more money since it is customary to charge according to how much size and weight you can get out of a piece of rough has cut the crown so shallow that it does not sparkle as well as it could of if he simply cut a smaller stone with a better crown unfortunately he would then not be able to charge as much but the stone would have been a superior quality. as it is for a white sapphire it still returns reasonable brilliance and having the hardness of 9 (mohs scale) it will be durable enough to go in a ring and be worn all day every day.
