 Spessartite garnet colors
The color is a fiery sunny orange to red brown. As with the other garnets, these garnets to always occurs due to a blend with other species. Gems with the highest spessartite content are a light orange. Those with almandine content are reddish, to red brown in hue.  Some of the most beautiful spessartite comes from Nambia where this gem originates! 

Many times, you will see a grainy or bubble-like appearance in hessonite and spessartite garnet, this does not take away from the beauty of the gem and normally you will need a loupe to see this type of inclusion, this is not a black inclusion.  You will need a loupe x10 to see this occurrence.  

please look at this gem with a loupe when you buy and receive it.  You will then be familiar with this 'fingerprint' or natural inclusion seen in this type of gem.
