Morganite is a beautiful soft pink or peach colored stone that is part of the Beryl family. Other stones in this family include Aquamarine, Emerald and Heliodore. They are highly sought after for their large size, great clarity and beautiful soft pink color.
Major sources include Madagascar and Brazil. It can be found in other locations around the world such as China, Mozambique and Russia however these stones are generally not heavily mined and are difficult to find in the market.
It is a durable stone sitting at 7.5 – 8 on the MOHS scale which makes it suitable for use in the jewelry that is to be worn every day. It makes a perfect cocktail ring since the stones are large and the hardness of the gem enables it to be worn often.
We have Morganite available in many different forms including faceted gemstones, Cabochons, matched pairs and rough pieces.
Matched pairs are unique because it is hard to find stones that perfectly match in hue. Most other gems are cut in half to obtain the perfect match. However because most of the rough is so clean there is no need to split it in two.
We have some Cabochon stones available which also make great pieces of jewelry. They have a soft pink color and look amazing set into a pendant.
Some of the rough that is available for sale can be cut into your own stone. To see what this gemstone looks like in its natural form, check out the specimens.

Absolutely fantastic, such a vivid pinkish red stone I have not seen.
Why are users outbidding themselves?
When a bid is placed, this is the maximum amount a user is willing to bid for the product. Our system will then automatically bid on that users behalf, incrementally increasing the bid to maintain their position as the highest bidder, up to the specified maximum.
When there is an icon indicating 'Auto Bid,' it means our system is actively placing bids for the user based on their maximum bid. This may appear as if users are outbidding themselves, but it's simply a result of the system updating the bid to reflect the users maximum limit.
