Description

This is a rare and impressive fossil of a prehistoric Mosasaur skull, a marine reptile from the Cretaceous period, approximately 70-66 million years ago. Measuring 45 centimeters in length, the skull showcases the formidable features of the Mosasaurus, a fearsome apex predator of ancient seas.

The fossil preserves intricate details of the bone structure, including sharp, conical teeth designed for gripping and tearing prey, and a robust jaw indicating a powerful bite. The eye sockets are prominently visible, providing insight into the sensory adaptations of this ancient creature.

This specimen is exceptionally well-preserved, with minimal restoration, allowing for an authentic representation of the Mosasaur's anatomy. The fossil's quality makes it a significant piece for both scientific study and display purposes. It offers a fascinating glimpse into the life and environment of marine reptiles during the Cretaceous period.

Such fossils are highly valued for their scientific significance, educational value, and their striking display potential. This Mosasaur skull fossil would make an exceptional addition to any collection of paleontological artifacts, serving as a tangible connection to the prehistoric past and a captivating centerpiece for museums, educational institutions, or private collectors.

Fast shipping, but unfortunately, the stand wasn't included as promised. The fossil consists of various bones and teeth from many different animals and is quite a pretty conglomerate. For the relatively low price, it's fine. A decorative piece.
