The meteorite is petrographically paired to NWA 7401, Enstatite EL melt rock.
Only 2% Meteorites falling to earth are Enstatite chondrite
The meteorite rock shows radial pyroxenes chondrules, matrix composed of orthopyroxene, plagioclase, daubréelite , sulphides’.
The pyroxene in the chondrules are elongated and prismatic.
Sulphates and Oxides appear at the edges of the grains, residues of environmental alterations.
There are also minor daubréelite ,kamacite and sulphides
paired specimens (including Northwest Africa [NWA] 2828 and 7401) are part of a vesicular, incompletely melted, EL chondrite impact melt rock with a mass of ~3 metric tons
Literature data indicate the meteorite fell ~23,000 year ago; numerous secondary phases formed during weathering. Both impact melting and weathering altered the meteorite's bulk chemical composition
An interesting 12 page detailed paper about this fossils meteorites Al Haggounia 001 and NWA 7401.

We visited Morocco in 2017 and visited areas where meteorites were found, but they were extremely difficult to find. In several hours we only found one small meteorite. Two images enclosed when we went fossicking for meteorites.

Quick shipping with FedEx to the US. It was well packaged. The one I received did have a small crack and chip in the lip, but stuff like that is expected with a natural material like this. I'm happy with my purchase.
