A beautiful, well cut, round, Natural Ceylon Zircon, the stone has a beautiful brownish yellow color.
Natural Zircons were first discovered on the earth in Sri Lanka in 1928 and named zircon because of their resemblance to a clear zircon gemstone.
Natural Ceylon Zircons are the only gemstones that can naturally form in a solid state. This is attributed to zircon's high melting point of 2,800 degrees Fahrenheit (1,550 degrees Celsius) and high refractive index.
