This vivid deep red garnet from the renowned Fullarton River QLD, a locality known the world over for its abundant source of quality garnet that occurs in many colors and sizes with the larger material often being fractured or included.
Cut in a Shield design made to improve color tone in deeply saturated gems this garnet is a fine example of what Fullarton River has to offer.
Very minor inclusions present and a tiny flaw on the culet, hardly visible when looking through the gem.
