This is natural gold embedded in quartz which was mine in Gympie gold field in the 1990s and was just sold recently by the miner
.Very rare to find gold bearing quartz in this in this area now.
We have not worked out the gold in this specimen as the value lies in it being made into jewelery which can sell for over 100$ to $200 per carat [not grams] Great as a specimen also.
