Tenebrescence is the ability some stones have to change color when exposed to UV light. This Afghani scapolite has that ability. While near colorless under normal light, this material will change to a Orange and then deep blue, almost looking like Sapphire. Once the UV light source is removed, the blue will fade back to colorless. This process is repeatable over and over.
