Amethyst is a violet variety of quartz. The name comes from the Koine Greek αμέθυστος amethystos from α- a-, "not" and μεθύσκω (Ancient Greek) methysko / μεθώ metho (Modern Greek), "intoxicate", a reference to the belief that the stone protected its owner from drunkenness.[1] Ancient Greeks wore amethyst and carved drinking vessels from it in the belief that it would prevent intoxication

Did you send me the package with UPS, not with normal mail, after a lot of problems and expenses I released the package, which was not worth it at all. Be happy that the answer is not negative

11/23/2024 - received this beauty in the mail yesterday 11/22/2024, it had some small flaws that honestly are no big deal but overall, it a beautiful gemstone I'm happy I made this purchase and will mostly make more in the future for sure!!!
