This is a succulent 1ct champagne colored precision cut zircon from the Harts Range NT.
These beauties offer near un-paralleled fire (dispersion) easily rivaling that of diamonds. This unheated/untreated zircon is an ideal size for jewelry and is faceted in one of my personal round designs "Shiny Flakes", created to maximize both brilliance (light return) and fire (dispersion).
Harts Range is renowned for being a top-quality source of plum, pink, champagne, red, orange, yellow, green and white zircons. The zircons found here differ to every other location in that they contain extremely low concentrations of radioactive elements (virtually undetectable in many specimens). This is unique to Harts Range and leads to High-Type zircons with refractive indices over 1.91 and EXTREME dispersion.
