1.60CT Natural Spinel oval mix cut Stone
Weight:(1.60)CT
Stone:(Spinel)
Spinel (with chemical formula of magnesium-aluminium oxide) is both a family group name for a number of mineral species and a species name for a gemstone. Spinel occurs in a wide range of colors including red, blue, pink, black, yellow, dark green and orange (called rubicelle). However, the favourite color for spinel is ruby-like red which occurs due to presence of Chromium (Cr) and Iron (Fe) elements (red spinel is also called as balas-ruby). Blue spinel is not only uncommon in nature, but the color is also inclined to the steely shade of blue, and is much inferior to the superb tint of the true sapphire. Spinel can be confused with other gemstones such as ruby, sapphire, zircon, tourmaline, amethyst and garnet. The name Spinel is probably originated from the Latin Spina meaning a thorn. Another possible derivation is from the Greek word meaning a spark.
Spinels of gem quality are remarkably free from flaws, cracks and other imperfections. Very often they include tiny spinel octahedral crystals, rutile needles and zircon "halo" crystal.

Why are users outbidding themselves?
When a bid is placed, this is the maximum amount a person is willing to bid for the product. Our system will then automatically bid on behalf of the bidder, incrementally increasing the bid up to the maximum to maintain their position as the highest bidder.
When there is an icon indicating 'Automatic Bid', it means our system is actively placing bids for the bidder based on their maximum bid. This may appear as if bidders are outbidding themselves, but it's simply a result of the system updating the bid to reflect the bidders maximum limit.
