Hessonite Garnet is an orange to reddish orange variety of grossular Garnet.
It is sometimes referred to as Cinnamon stone because of the colour.
It has a very special effect called treacle which is the same affect you get when whisky mixes with water.
It gives the stones a silky, oily look
