Rutilated Quartz, This Quartz has a lemon-yellow color, many times this is considered a smokey quartz, but this really is a lemon-yellow quartz and has nice Rutile Needles in the Gem. These rutile needles are spectacular easy to see and even feel, nobody will have a gem like this!

Unique & Collectible gemstone the cut allows it to be used as a gemstone or cab, lovely clear transparent yellow color.

NOW…. THE AMAZING YES AMAZING thing about this gem is the Rutile Needles!! There are 3 Primary needles seen, rather normal size but. What is not normal is to be able to feel each needle on the outside of the gem. Almost as if the needle was protruding from the gem which it really is a tiny bit.

This is a collector's piece and a Teaching piece honestly! Yes, this would be wonderful for a teacher of gemology.
