For my introduction to this platform i present to you an old family heirloom from a private collection held for over 30 years on the QLD Gemfields.
This exquisite unheated round brilliant Teal sapphire is internally flawless, attaining a loupe-clean clarity grade with a perfect polish and outstanding symmetry. A luscious combination of green/blue/yellow with a faint hint of soft blue silk, this gem is a true rarity. This gem is UNHEATED, UNTREATED, just as nature produced it and for the size/clarity of the stone it is a true heirloom/investment grade gemstone.
It was mined in the early 1990s from the "Washpool" field near Rubyvale and cut shortly thereafter by a late faceting master. Held safely for close to 30 years and now finally on offer to the international market.
