This is the best Rubellite Tourmaline we have ever seen. The color is rich and deep and it is simply awesome! Fire - this gem has plenty - I can stare at it for ages and never get bored. (Though I will be when it is sold!) It is a rich Rubellite pink with strong red tones. The gem has quite a deep cut to it which gives it the richness. Yes this gem has some inclusions but these actually enhance the beauty of the gem and it is the color you a buying here over and above everything else. We have taken good honest photos with a high quality macro lens on aperture 18 to give you a complete view of the gemstone - nothing is hidden. Please consider the level of magnification - the stone measures 16.37 by 13.31 by 11.04mm and if you measure the image on your screen it is likely to be far more magnified than a gemmologist’s loupe. These photos are not photoshopped or manipulated - it is as is. We took several photos; in a light box both with and without a cover - the photo without the cover shows some dark tones to the gem which is in fact a reflection of the camera equipment on the gemstone, but we wanted to include this as sometimes the light box cover can be detrimental to images. We also took a photo in a room with daylight (light outside) with no lightbox and no lighting at all - to give you another impression of the gemstone - this image actually makes the gem look cloudy but gives you an idea of the gem you will see when you firstly open the parcel with no light on it. Photos on mirrors actually give a better idea of the clarity as well as the cutting of the gem; as if it reflects badly it is not a well cut gem! Unheated and untreated Rubellite - it really is awesome and flat images do not capture the full beauty. Please trust us on this one! If you are not delighted you will get your money back no quibble.
