Nearly all commercial blue topaz is heated, irradiated, or both to create the "London Blue" color commonly seen. But this gem has neither been heated nor irradiated. If this were a small stone it would most likely appear nearly colorless, but in large sizes such as this the color is retained. Cut in a Portuguese oval design with fine clarity this is a must for any collector!
