There are nebulous crystalline clouds within this gorgeous gem - a lot of pink within the purple. I have had a rare Amethyst (which is of course related) that had this feature - of being a mix of purple and pink in such a delicious way! This gem is commandingly wonderful - having its hidden world and the mystique of the Chalcedony. On one side at the bottom there is a splinter of white (see photos) however I believe this stone would make for a fascinating piece of jewellery and is a rare, natural find.
