gr 81 e18 this magnificent blue sapphire was found by us on the central Queensland gem field. normally a stone this beautiful you would expect to have to buy from a miner, since to find a stone like this near the surface is almost impossible these days, but it can be done. it returns a reasonable brilliance and although it is a little dark, it would be somebody pride and joy. normally a stone like this would fetch a high price because we would have to buy the rough from the miner, but having found the stone ourselves we can pass on some of the savings to you.
