Description
The scapolites are a group of rock-forming silicate minerals composed of aluminium, calcium, and sodium silicate with chlorine, carbonate and sulfate. The two endmembers are meionite and marialite. Silvialite (Ca, Na)₄Al₆Si₆O₂₄ is also a recognized member of the group. Wikipedia

This stone is even more beautiful than pictured! Some slight inclusions but no visible chips or external blemishes. One of the few stones I have purchased that genuinely looks better to me in person than in the pictures!

This is a beautiful sapphire. The FedEx shipping was good except the seller waited more than two weeks before it was shipped. I'm not sure what happened there, but I am happy it got here!
