This fantastic natural apatite is an amazing shade of teal with equal amounts of blue and green creating an incredible rich tone comparable to paraiba tourmaline but without the huge price tag. The piece is totally eye clean, though shows fine needles when viewed with a 10x loupe. The cutting performs very well making this a great feature piece in a stunning round cut. This piece was purchased as unheated but has most likely at least undergone low temperature heating.
