PERU PINK OPAL
This is a natural untreated specimen that can be cut in to stones , kept as a specimen or made into a stunning carving.
The colour comes from the pink clay with high levels of manganese that seeps into the silica.
The pink opal has a crypocrystalline texture and palygorskite formation.
