GR 26 This is an Australian blue sapphire we at oftheearthgems faceted at our lapidary after buying the rough from a miner on the central QLD Gemfields . It is deep in colour but returns good brilliance as seen in the vidio. The photos are not so good but I think it is largely due to taking them indoors under house lights instead of sun light but it is hard to set up a photo studio outdoors! Being over a ct in weight it is not a small stone as sapphires go.
