Zultanite may be called a diaspore variety, but it's technically a trademarked name for color-changing diaspores sourced from Turkey. Turkish diaspore gems have the highest quality of any diaspores. Besides Zultanite, the name Csarite is also a trademarked trade name for Turkish diaspore gem material.
Diaspore, also known as Zultanite or Csarite, is a unique and relatively rare mineral that belongs to the oxide mineral group.
