PYRITE, QUARTZ SPECIMEN

ORIGIN : Druzhba mine, Laki, Bulgaria
A wonderful example from the Druzhba mine in Bulgaria consisting of shiny golden Pyrite crystals on terminated Quartz crystals. Minor micro black amorphous Sphalerite also present on one end. The largest Pyrite crystal measures 10 x 10 mm. Specimen is interesting under magnification with the forest of Quartz crystals, also spot the micro Sphalerite and enjoy viewing the Pyrite crystal which is iridescent with very nice color. Although crystals are obvious to the naked eye, specimen requires magnification in order to enjoy the crystal structures and formations. Will be a delightful addition to any mineral or rock collection. Do not miss this opportunity.
