Wonderful and old example consisting of well formed Uralite along with minor micro Epidote and Andaradite crystals known only from a single locality in Greece and only a limited number of such specimens were found. These are the best crystals that can be found in Greece. Specimen looks delightful under magnification as there is detail to explore, view the well formed platy crystals of Uralite with the characteristic wood like structure and spot the micro Epidote and Andradite. Although crystals are obvious to the naked eye, specimen requires magnification in order to enjoy the crystal structures. The locality is hardly known to the mineral world and none of this material is available on the market which makes it a rarer specimen (google search). Uralite is not a mineral but a name given to pseudomorph of amphibole group after pyroxene group mineral. Will be a delightful and an unusual addition to any rock, mineral or pseudomorph collection.
