This huge over-100 carat kunzite is internally flawless and drenched in pink from the manganese content of the stone. Out of California, it will make a show-stopping piece of jewelry.

From the Pala Chief Mine in San Diego County, California, this 101.40 carat cushion cut kunzite is a prime example of the fine specimens to come out of this deposit. First discovered in 1903, mining of the pocket initially ceased around 1914. Now, discoveries of important elbaite and spodumene specimens still occur there.
