1.) Insurance, Item 167225.

2.) Resale, Item 167228 .

3.) Decoration, Item 167230.

Each requires a separate type of Photo.  Gemstar offers the following options:

1) Insurance - Basic, 8 1/2 inch by 11 plain paper, pretty, but primarily useful for insurance, typically 4 prints cost to you $20.

2.) Resale - Photographic paper, 8 1/2 inches by 11 inches.  Images may be small or large, Photos will turn out beautifully.  4 prints, cost to you $40

3.) Decoration - some photos are in TIF format.  (3264 mp by 2448), these are printed on 13 x 18 photographic paper.  They are stunning.  Ideal for framing.  $149.  Prints on Hewlett Packard high density 9600 printer.  These Photos take 30 minutes to print, 12 hours to dry.  They are a giant photograph.  Very cool!  Main photo only. Comes roled in a tube.  Ideal for framing.... Makes a very elegant, dramatic wall decoration

Gemstar uses the following to insure the accuracy of our offerings: Polariscope, Refractometer, Chelsea Filter, 10 To 60 Power Gemscope, Digital Calipers, High Megapixel Digital Photography, Assorted additional equipment. All Gemstar items are guaranteed.

TREATMENTS

On a very, very infrequent basis, stones of many species are treated with  laboratory "hocus pokus". All stones are examined under 30 power magnification for any trace of these treatments. Stones that show treatment are clearly stated.

Stones of many types can be laboratory created.  Our equipment is designed to help to detect these.  Gemstar never sells laboratory imitation stones, only natural stones that have beauty and are suitable for elegant jewelry applications where the fabricator wants genuine, valuable, natural materials that compliment their hard work and effort.

DISCLOSURES

Nothing is more disappointing than to get something that is not accurately represented. All photos are of the actual stones and are never computer enhanced. Any details that we become aware of that effect the quality, durability or value of the Stones are clearly stated.

SHIPPING

Shipping is free for all items. Gemstar reserves the right to combine purchases into one assignment for convenience and simplicity. All shipments include descriptive information.

GUARANTEES / RETURNS 

Should you ever be disappointed with an item purchased from Gemstar, you have a 10 day period to provide notification. Should you elect to submit stones for independent certification this period can be extended for an additional 45 days provided that you notify us of intent to certify within the initial 10 days period.
