Burmese amber or Burmite is the oldest amber in the world, formed between 65 million and 135 million years ago. The Mohs hardness is about 2.5 - 3.0, which is the highest hardness of all amber. It is also a natural organic gemstone.
Due to the ongoing civil war in Burma, backward mining technology and rainy season, acquiring Burmese amber has become challenging which shows the rarity of Burmese amber, highlighting its scarcity.
The growth conditions of Burmese amber are extremely complicated. Having coexisted with various minerals that permeated its structure for a long time, Burmese amber displays a greater range of colors compared to other amber varieties. This diverse coloration, combined with its durability suitable for jewelry, has led to a growing appreciation for Burmese amber in recent years.

BURMITE/BURMESE AMBER BRACELET

CARE TIPS:
Amber, as an organic gemstone, should not be exposed to organic substances like gasoline, kerosene, and nail polish with alcohol content, along with items such as perfume, insecticide, hairspray, and cosmetics.
