What is a Geode Rock?
Geodes are very common all around the world but some exceptional specimens have been found in the Americas. They form in desert areas where there was once a volcanic ash bed. They are commonly

minerals that have other minerals inside of their cavity. The term geode
actually comes from the same Greek word, which is translated as “Earthlike”.
This could not be a more appropriate term for this item as they can often be
small and spherical as well as attracting quite a lot of attention for its
unique look.
Geodes can be found within sedimentary rocks and igneous rocks. The geode structure is one of the most striking crystalline structures you can find in the gemstone world. These are often created with Chalcedony Quartz found internally within a rock. That is what makes this such a stunning stone. These come in various forms, each one unique to that specific geode.
